ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
    

1. You must be aged 18 or above on 15 May 2016.
            
 

2. You must be legally residing in and/or a citizen of the following countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Vietnam, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea, Myanmar, Brunei, Cambodia or Laos.

3. You cannot have any formal tertiary or professional catering qualifications acquired in the last 10 years. More details here
         
- You cannot have ever worked full-time in a kitchen as a cook, chef or in food preparation;
- You cannot have earned money from preparing food and/or cooking fresh food in a professional kitchen environment, including a restaurant, café or take-away food establishment for more than six weeks at a time in the last 15 years;
- You cannot have taught cooking classes or have done cooking demonstrations food preparation either on a casual basis, part time full time or on contract in the last 15 years; and
- Your main source of income cannot come from preparing and/or cooking fresh food in a professional environment, including in a restaurant, hotel and/or canteen.

    
4. All contestants must be amateurs.  If you have previous professional kitchen experience the Producer and/or Broadcaster deems could create an unfair advantage, you will not be considered eligible. 
  

5. You cannot have been charged with and/or convicted of any serious criminal offence.  
 

Shooting schedule, location and dates are at the discretion of the Producer and the Broadcaster and will be advised only to successful candidates.
            
Employees (and their families) of the Producer, the Endemol Shine Group, Reveille LLC, the Broadcaster and each of their affiliated and related companies are NOT eligible to be a contestant in the Programme.
            

RULES OF ENTRY
            
Please ensure you read, fully understand and, in the case of the Eligibility Requirements, meet, each of these Rules of Entry, Instructions on How to Apply, the Eligibility Requirements and Terms and Conditions before applying to Endemol South East Asia Pte. Ltd. (the “Producer”) and AETN Asia Pte. Ltd. (the “Broadcaster”) to be a contestant on MasterChef Asia, Series 2 (the "Programme").

All applications must be submitted on-line or by mail by no later than 11 March 2016 (11:59 PM SIN/MAL).
