We are offering autistic people with an interest in journalism the opportunity to take part in a specially designed introductory journalism program taught by Macquarie University and supported by Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) and Bus Stop Films.
Successful applicants will be mentored by renowned journalist Leigh Sales and will take part in interviews with high profile Australians.
Applicants from all across Australia are welcome to apply. It doesn’t matter what experience you have.

Guidelines & Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be aged 18 years or over and be available for filming between 7 April and 6 June. Filming will be in Sydney. If you are successful and get to take part and live outside of Sydney, we will help you return home on the days you are not filming.
Assistance will be provided where necessary for successful applicants with travel and accommodation arrangements. For applicants who are selected to participate in the Program, there will be payment for the time worked during the filming period of the Program.
